My parenting journey has not been what I planned. Instead, it has exceeded my expectations, proven I have a unique purpose, forced me to live a life with intention, and made me whole in a way I never knew was possible.

I am the mother of a teenage daughter with cerebral palsy.
 

This is a peek into our lives with our special needs daughter – the good, the bad, and the sometimes surprising. The stories I share here are motivated by a deeper passion -- the pursuit of meaning from something that could be seen as so meaningless.


*Currently in the final stages of editing, I am working on a book about our journey of hope, determination, and love. (Projected publishing date is early 2014.)
